I have a new 2024 crv,I chose this car because I was thinking about the weekend getaway aspect and he is really cheap on gas. I have a neighbor, I'll call him Tom, who purchased his CRV in 2023, my car is different from his except for the color, he installed 'window visors', he says it blocks the sun from sitting inside the car, I don't think so, but with the 'window visors' on the windows of the car it really looks very good, should I go to this store to buy it as well?

I have visors. I prefer the I channel ones. Like to be able to keep the windows open a bit when it rains. Also allows be to keep the windows open a bit when the car is parked and not worry whe rain comes in.

I feel that they don't help with the sun much. I like Weathertech products as I find that they fit well. The front in channel visors just snap in on the front, hangers for the rears.

They are not a need.

I would look at styles, varieties installation differences. I used to be a smoker and started with door visors so I could crack the windows in the rain to let the smoke out. I still get them on my vehicles but more for styling although they are handy for all the reasons stated. The ones in your photo are not Honda's OEM. Note how they cover the plastic chrome and their style. Honda's cover the chrome but then add it to the visor. Attached are mine. Sorry for the bad photo. I also have the moonroof visor which my wife likes because it makes it easier to find our CRV in parking lots. Thankfully not many moonroof visors out there...

Ironically I a am struggling with the same question. Last week I brought a new Civic Si and reevaluating window visors. Leaning towards Honda's since I have experience with the little clips rivets. but I digress...
