Hey everyone I looked for some ideas as my wife's car needed some new wipers. The rear one was easy and I got a replacement Bosch unit from O'Reilly's, the front ones was another matter! Looking around people had expressed concerns about non OEM units and the washer sprays on the wipers, interfering. Going round and round I gave up and ordered some OEM units online, for about $50 for the two of them, however shipping $20 and tax brought them to ~ $78.00 After checking with my local dealer they had them for $136.80 for the two, a no brainer for me.

The big complaint is that this is pretty outrageous to pay and entirely due to the design! Oh well I will have to live with it!

"Wipers" have 4 parts. The arm, the blade, the insert, and the washer. The blade contains the insert. The washer is attached to the arm.

So, you can replace just the rubber insert. Or you can replace the blade including the insert without touching the washer. There are many makers of blades that fit our cars. (Actually only a few with many brand & model names; Trico, Anco, and Michelin wipers (not tires) all have the same owner, First Brands Group.)

Put the wipers in the maintenance position as shown in your owner's encyclopedia. Lift the wiper off the glass, push on the square button, and slide the blade out of the arm. Reverse the process to put the new blade, or old blade with new rubber, back on the arm.

Bosch has 7 models of wiper blades that fit our cars. Trico has 16 models plus some of these packaged for Discount Tire. There are others as well that are duplicates packaged for Amazon and other sellers. This count doesn't include the rear blades. Some other brands also fit our cars. Anco, a sister company to Trico, has 3 or 4 models for us, plus rears.

When in an auto parts store or on-line check other years of our sixth-generation CR-Vs, '23 thru '26. Their catalog may not list the current year but the blades are the same. The blade maker's catalog listing may be more accurate than the seller's listing.

The washer nozzles are attached to the wiper arm. The blade slides off without affecting the washer. Either lift the wipers in the parked position or move them to the maintenance position. Push down on the square button and slide the blade out. Put the correct adapter on the new blade and slide it in until you hear the click. Give it a little tug to assure yourself that it's in place.
