Sorry that I am late to this party, But thanks for the garage pics.

And the Afterburners? Really? At least give them some tint first.........
We'll have to see, maybe that wouldn't be so bad, they'd look like completely black tail lights... I'm also going to paint the silver rings around each globe satin black so they don't stand out as much.

To those of you who never saw the afterburners, or weren't here yet, or don't know what I'm talking about:

The reason I want to do it is that I really like that black line it gave to the back end, and now that the headlights are black, and I'm going to paint the billet black, it will be completely black and blue. I think it will look great.

I agree that it will match everything better, but to me, they look cheap. They dont look like they belong on the V. Granted it isn't my V, and it really doesn't matter what I think. But I am offering my opinion. They will look better with the silver parts painted black though.

They aren't on the car yet, and granted, they were cheap, that's for sure.;) But I have them covered in tape right now, drying some black satin on the Silver parts to get rid of those, I have a feeling those rings alone led to it looking like plastic. We'll see. I got some more detailing to do to them, and if they still don't look right, they won't have a home on the car.

Close.....plymouth Voyageur.

Ford made the Aerostar. Chevy made the Astro.
Ahhh, 3 vehicles that contributed to Honda's success in the US. For many owners, those were the last American cars they will ever own. One uncle of mine switched to Toyota after owning a couple Astro's. The other switched to Honda after the fateful ownership of several Aerostars. Many owners happily traded Voyagers for Odysseys.

Please a moment of silence. Let those poor, hopeless ...rather drivetrains and chassis .... of the American minivans of the 80's and 90's rust in peace.
