MP3 off of USB flash in 2010 CRV?

I can't find a 2010 CRV PDF manual online, so apologies for my question.

Can one hook up a USB flash drive to the glove compartment USB connector on the 2010 EX-L model? That is, can I fill a flash drive with MP3s, have the head unit recognize the MP3 and play them (similar in function to the card slot in the 2009 EX-L NAV model)?

Thanks,
Ales

I have a 2010 EX-L with Nav and use a MicroCenter branded 32GB thumb drive formatted to FAT32, with MP3 and iTunes created m4a files (non-DRM AAC). works okay, but after about 100 directories off the root directory, the listing is blank. So those blank listings are all "surprise guest artists" of sorts...

I've got a 16GB flash drive with about 190 Cd's on and it works great; no complaints. The manual says not to leave the flash drive in the glove box all the time as the heat can damage it; I live in the Chicago area and we've had a heck of a hot summer and high humidity; Since flash drives are relatively cheap now, thought I'd experiment and take a chance; I leave it in all the time and drive back and forth to work 35 miles or so a day and enjoy it a lot and NO problems what so ever with this through June, July and now half way through August.......
